We love statistics.  Look around.  Stats are everywhere.  We track and rank everything.  Examples include sports scores, blood pressure charts, stock market indexes, weight scales, political polls, and best dressed lists.
What if we start to track these daily stats – number of given and received in the following areas?

bear hugs
helpful hands
belly laughs
